Kemper submits second quarter financials
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE LONG GROVE, ILL. – August 15, 2006 – Kemper filed its second quarter 2006 financial statements (LMC financial statement - AMM financial statement) on Tuesday, August 15, 2006. Kemper posted a combined statutory surplus of $173.4 million. Of this amount, $163.0 million represents Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company’s (LMC) surplus, with the $10.4 million balance posted by American Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Company (AMM).
