Kemper submits year-end financials
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE LONG GROVE, ILL. – March 02, 2006 – Kemper filed its year-end 2005 financial statements (LMC financial statement - AMM financial statement) on Tuesday, February 28, 2006. The company posted a combined statutory surplus of $178.6 million. Of this amount, $168.3 million represents Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company’s (LMC) surplus, with the $10.3 million balance posted by American Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Company (AMM).
