Kemper submits first quarter financials
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE LONG GROVE, ILL. – May 17, 2010– Kemper filed its first quarter 2010 financial statements (LMC financial statement - AMM financial statement) on Friday, May 14, 2010. Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company (LMC) posted a statutory surplus of $2.1 million as of March 31, 2010. American Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Company (AMM), a mutual company under common management with LMC, posted statutory surplus of $11.3 million for the same period.
