Kemper submits year-end financials
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE LONG GROVE, ILL. – March 1, 2010– Kemper filed its year-end 2009 financial statements (LMC financial statement - AMM financial statement) on Thursday, February 25, 2010. Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company (LMC) posted a statutory surplus of $8.1 million as of December 31, 2009. American Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Company (AMM), a mutual company under common management with LMC, posted statutory surplus of $11.2 million for the same period.
