Use of Personal and Non-Personal Information

We collect both personal and non-personal information about our on-line visitors. Non-personal information is collected to track the total number of guests visiting Kemper’s sites and to assist our efforts of site improvement. The non-personal information we monitor includes the areas of the sites visited, date and time of access, browser type and operating system used by visitors, and host or service provider information. Except for our brokers, and where information is necessary to conduct business (ie: settling claims), this information is not disclosed to any non-affiliated third parties. The information Kemper collects is used to provide quotes when requested, administer insurance policies, and answer questions or concerns. We also collect information from prospective employees interested in applying for a job with Kemper.
